Weight Watchers Point System and Core Plan
In answer to all the emails I received inquiring about which Weight Watchers program I follow. I am on the Weight Watchers point system.
Weight Watchers has two programs they offer, one is the Flex points system and the other is the Core Plan.
The way Weight Watchers Works.
I will be very brief here, for obvious reasons : ). After joining Weight Watchers you are told how much points you are allowed each day and this is calculated by your weight and other factors.
Each food also has a point value so depending on your allowed amount of points per day, you choose the foods that would add up and equal the points you are allowed.
The core Plan
The weight watchers core plan is the second plan offered by Weight Watchers. Weight Watchers created a list of foods you can eat which you can eat as much of until you are full. This plan was not structured enough for me, telling someone who is extremely overweight to eat until they are full may not work for some and certainly will not work for me.
I have found that the Weight Watchers points system have helped me tremendously, it has made me more conscious of the food I eat and it really has helped me to make better food choices.
