The Tv Show Ruby has really Inspired Me!

I love the tv show Ruby and watching this show has really inspired me to get back on track. I have been struggling to get back into the weight loss mind set. Last weekend I started watching this show and I felt really motivated to get up and get started.  The tv show Ruby showcases the life of Ruby who really is in the battle of her life to lose 400 pounds and she has a long way to go because she is just getting started. What I love about this show is that Ruby is quite honest and open about her life. I can definitely relate to that.

After posting the video about my weight on this blog I received a lot of emails from some of you telling me how brave I was to show myself getting on the scale. The truth is, I wanted to make this whole thing very real for myself and all my readers who are in the same struggle. My weight has been a battle for me for a long time. I am accepting where I am today, at the weight I am, but I will work as hard as I can to become healthy. My being overweight does not define who I am as a person. I am a loving wife, a caring sister, a loving daughter, a volunteer worker, a full time Internet marketer and a pet owner and I could go on and on. For each role I play in life I have tried my best to succeed in it  and complete it the best way I can, but for some reason my weight has been a struggle.

What I have noticed is, many people who are overweight allow society to define who they are. I have never been that way. I am not sure why, but I do think a lot of it has to do with  having  strong and loving parents. My father was a hard working man and we knew how much he loved us and my mom is the nicest person I know. My dad taught us to be respectable members of society and to always hold our heads up high in the truth of who we are.

So basically I wanted to tell everyone who is struggling to lose  weight along with me, To keep your heads up and be strong and together we can lose the weight, right along with Ruby!
