How much water to drink when dieting?

Next to air, water is most essential to life. The human body is made up of about 70% water. Almost every cell in the body requires water to function properly. If you really think about this fact it is amazing that so many people do not drink enough water. Your body can survive without food for about a couple of weeks but without water you could only survive a couple of days. If you are trying to lose weight an important fact to remember is to drink enough water so that the body can metabolize fat adequately.

Dr Oz Green Drink on Oprah

I started the new year off with this drink I saw on Oprah. This will take some getting use to for me but is was not that bad.

So here is the recipe for Dr Oz Green Drink which Oprah referred to as “Freshness in a Glass”

“Freshness In A Glass”
4 Celery Stalks
1 Cucumber
1 Cup Spinach
1 Lemon
1 Lime
1 Large Apple
1/2 Inch Piece of Ginger
Mix Everything Together In A Blender

I also crushed ice and poured the drink over it! This helped.

A great energy booster!
